The Tseat is an individual seat designed for public seating both outdoor and undercover. It is a single seat available with either a recycled Jarrah or recycled plastic surface. The construction is unique, embracing simplicity and cost effectiveness. The timber struts or plastic panel is attached simply to a sheet of perforated steel which is welded to the supports. As well as providing strength and rigidity, this perforated steel also allows water to drain through it where a seat with an unbroken surface would not.

The Tseat is designed so spaces are not limited in function by the standard public benches seen in streets, parks and squares today. The Tseat aims to provide architects and planners with the opportunity to design a public space with individuals in mind. However, placed adjacently to one another, Tseats create a bench that fit any number of persons. The contrast of the Timber and plastic seating surfaces bring a material diversity not often seen in our streets. The emphasis on recycled materials is in keeping with the commendable growing trend of public policy.
