The 4sq Coffee Table employs an innovative method of holding magazines under the table surface. The magazines or newspapers rest in three hammocks formed by a single piece of canvas. The canvas is taken from recycled household blinds as it is a strong material and also keeps a consistent form when placed in a position such as the wave aesthetic used in this design. As the name suggests, the table is formed of four timber squares and linked through each corner with a steel thread. The four squares, the waves of the canvas and the brushed steel piping draw one's attention from magazine to magazine.
